Baked Scallops In Breadcrumbs


Serves 2 - 3

    Ingredients:

  • 1½ lb of sea scallops - cut in half
  • ½ tbsp of salt
  • ½ tbsp of pepper
  • ½ tbsp of cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup of bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp of milk
  • ½ cup of margarine - melted

Cooking Method

Mix the dry ingredients together

Beat the egg and milk together

Dip the scallops in the crumb mixture, then the egg mixture, and then the crumbs again

Place the scallops in a roasting pan and drizzle the melted margarine over them

Bake at 230°C / 450°F / Gas Mark 8 for 20-25 minutes
