Garlic & Herb Barbequed Trout

  • 4 trout
  • 1 sliced lemon
  • 40 ml of olive oil
  • 40g of sliced garlic
  • 10g of fresh rosemary
  • 10g of basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Method

Slice down the centre of the under-bellies of the fish with a knife

In a bowl combine the olive oil, garlic and herbs and give them a quick stir

Place the herb mixture and lemon slices inside the trout and wrap them in tin foil

Place the wrapped trout onto a preheated barbecue and cook for roughly 15 minutes

Remove the stuffing from inside the trout and using a fork, remove the meat from inside
