Any flatfish such as soles or plaice
Line a flameproof dish or grill tray with tinfoil. Rinse the fish and pat it dry, then place it on the tray
Using a bowl, mix together the garlic, garam masala, chilli powder, tumeric, salt, oil, coriander and lemon juice
Using a pastry brush, baste the fish fillets evenly all over with the mixture
Preheat the grill to very hot, then lower the heat to medium. Grill the fillets for approx. 10 minutes, turning as necessary and basting occasionally, until they are cooked right through.
Serve immediately with salad or new potatoes
