Moroccan-Style Whiting Fillets

Serves 2


  • 2½lbs of whiting
  • ¼ tsp of cumin
  • ¼ tsp of turmeric
  • ¼ tsp of hot paprika
  • ¼ tsp of sweet paprika
  • ¼ tsp of freshly ground pepper
  • Salt
  • 125g of flour
  • 2 sliced lemons
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil

Cooking Method

Mix all spices together in mixing bowl

Wash the fish thoroughly and pat dry with paper towels

Sprinkle the fish on both sides with the spice mixture

Lightly dredge each piece in flour, shaking off any excess

Heat the olive oil in frying pan and place the fish in, frying on both sides until golden brown (approx. 5 - 10 minutes)

Drain on paper towels and serve with lemon slices
