Milk-Poached Smoked Cod

Serves 2


  • 2 fillets of Smoked Cod
  • 1 pint of fresh milk
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • Handful of Peppercorns

Cooking Method

Place the milk into a pan and heat (you can add some flour to thicken and some white wine to flavour if you prefer)

Add the bay leaves and crushed peppercorns

Add the smoked cod and poach for approx 5 minutes

Serve the cod with the sauce drizzled over it
